Founded in 1994, Stanford Electric Rebuilders has built itself up from a two-man operation to a major player in the Electrical Apparatus industry. Nick Lekkas, owner and President worked steadily at the start of the business to acquire new customers. Nick, previously having almost 20 years experience in the industry smoothly made the transition from employee to employer. Within two months of being in business he hired his first shop technician.

Stanford acquired more business and as a direct result, their operations expanded. They acquired more employees and purchased more specialized equipment in response to their growth. In the first five years of business, Stanford moved locations to a shop that was over twice the size of their previous building.

More than 10 years after Stanford’s inception, they have built some solid relationships with their customers through value-added services and their outstanding commitment to producing quality products.

The company is conveniently located in Toronto (Steeles and Hwy 27), with immediate access to all major highways. Currently, Stanford is recognized as being specialists in the repair of AC & DC motors, Generators, Starters, Alternators, Control and Drives. Being a family-run business, has presented its benefits to Stanford’s customers. Reason being, the employees have the added commitment to satisfying all of their customers needs.

Stanford increasingly moves to provide exceptional service to all of its customers. This is done through their on-going dedication to producing quality products.
